Just last week, I had the incredible opportunity to be a part of something truly special; the first B Business Together event of the year, held at B Corp, Atrevia, in Madrid.
The beauty of being part of the B Corp community is in knowing you're not alone. There’s an entire network of businesses out there that share your values, ready to support, collaborate, and grow together. It’s what B Corp is all about.
As a certified B Corp we’ve voluntarily worked to meet the highest standards for social and environmental performance. By connecting with like-minded companies, we can use the power of business to help address society’s critical challenges - doing our bit to transform the global economy to benefit all people, communities, and the planet.
Over 45 representatives from more than 30 B Corps gathered at the event, sharing the energy, enthusiasm and the collective drive to learn and grow together; united by the shared mission of B Corps, to do business that's good for the world.
Among the crowd was our team from The Ad Plain. For us, this event wasn’t just about networking, it was about reaffirming our commitment to being a force for good, learning from others, and exploring how we can collectively push the boundaries of what it means to be a responsible business.
It's events like these, that remind me why we do what we do. Connecting with like-minded individuals, all driven by a purpose beyond profit, is truly inspiring.
‘There’s magic in the air when passionate people come together with open hearts and minds’, is something I always say.
The bonds formed at this event, and the ideas sparked, are the seeds for tomorrow’s innovations, sustainable practices, and community engagements. The event was a powerful reminder that together, we can make a huge impact.
I want to thank every person who attended and helped organise this event, especially B Corp Atrevia, and the amazing Sheila Troncoso, for opening their doors and hearts to us, making us all feel at home.
